Internet Activity Project Information

The purpose of this activity is to help students learn more about the characters in the book, Of Mice and Men before they begin the reading.  The topics covered will include learning specific character traits of each of the 5 main characters.  To be successful with this activity, students need to know how to use the internet and find key facts about each character that will enable them to know their personalities.  I believe this activity can be implemented and completed in 1-2 class periods.  This may vary with the population of students in which you are teaching.

Oceans

The students who will be using this treasure hunt are students reading at a second -third grade reading level.  The links given were chosen because they are kid friendly and easy to read and understand.  The information the students are searching for is also designed for students at an elementary level of learning.
